Sulphur Fire-Garrett, Aubrey & Dogs

I am Craig Scovel,  This account is being set up for my son, Garrett Scovel, his girlfriend, Aubrey Brown, and their two dogs, Chubbs and Hendrix.We are from Clearlake, California I will be directly handing any and all funds to Garrett Scovel

This is our story:



On October 9 at about 2:30 in the morning, my phone started ringing. The voice on the other end was frantic.

"You gotta get out!"
Evacuate! Evacuate Now!
There's a fire! FIRE!"

She had to repeat it 3 times before the information sunk in. I got up and looked outside; I could tell by the glow of the fire and the wind that the fire would be on my son's place in no time. Within 30 seconds , I had my son on the line. Now I was frantically yelling.

Within 4 minutes he was down the hill and at my door. His girlfriend, Aubrey, was on the road to his mom's house with their two dogs, Chubbs and Hendrix

For the next 7 hours, my son and I-alongside two lifelong friends, Russell Jonas and Jesse Jaehn-fought the fire, saving at least a dozen homes in the neighborhood. But Garrett and Aubrey's home never stood a chance. They lost everything.

I am asking for  donations to help my son, Garrett Scovel, his girlfriend, Aubrey Brown, and their two furry family members, Chubbs and Hendrix.

The money you donate through this GoFundMe account will be used to secure Garrett and Aubrey a pet-friendly rental, purchase basic household items and furnishings such as a bed, bedding, towels, toiletteries, kitchen/cooking supplies, food,  clothes/shoes, pet supplies,  and other basic home necessities.

Any amount you can give will be appreciated more than I could possibly say. No amount is too small.
