Surgery For Sameerah

My name is Sameerah.  
I came to the United States as a refugee from Iraq with my son, daughter, and husband in January of 2015, after losing two of my sons to the violence in my country.  I have been diagnosed with a rare condition known as lipedema, which severely limits my mobility and causes significant pain in my legs.  In order to correct this condition, I need a surgery known as water-jet assisted liposuction, to help repair my lymphatic system.  Only five surgeons in the U.S. perform this surgery-and, fortunately, I have found a surgeon in Deleware  willing to perform the procedure.  This surgery would completely change my life: I would regain mobility and, for the first time in years, be pain-free.
My family and I are seeking donations towards this surgery/travel expenses.  As it stands now, finances are the last barrier to getting me this critical procedure, which is not covered by health insurance.
