Inspired by our lecturers, we students also want to help support Shelter Cymru. and we're aiming to raise £1 for each of our fellow peers attending our final foundations of mathematics lecture.
Given the current pandemic, many are in danger of losing their jobs and source of income. Studies show that covid-19 has caused an increase in poverty all across UK. With the approaching winter and also a new lockdown in sight, we believe supporting Shelter Cymru is more urgent than ever.

At this moment approximately 90 000 people in Wales are living in fear that they may lose their homes in the next few months.
Shelter Cymru provides free, expert housing advice to help people in need, and they also campaign for everyone in Wales to have access to a decent, secure home. Their team of solicitors represent those in danger of repossession or eviction, and can help legally defend people who are at risk of losing their homes.
