Striking Kellogg Workers Local 50G

Hello, My name is Mark Scott, and I am a Union Steward for Local 50 G in Omaha Nebraska.  The Kellogg Co. has made it apparent, that the only way their union employees will get fair wages and benefits, is by going on strike.  Believe me, NO union member wanted this.   We take great pride in making cereal for the entire country.  We are disappointed that Kellogg's is threatening to move our jobs out of the country to Mexico, and take away some of our benefits. While working through the pandemic, we created record profits for the company.  You would think that they would be treating their essential workers as HEROES.  But sadly, they are treating us as zeros. The Kellogg Co. has a blatant lack of respect for their employees and refuses to acknowledge their hard work and sacrifices.  They completely disregard  the family celebrations, holidays, birthdays and other life events missed by their employees.  The Company only sees the all mighty dollar.   
This fund will be used to support every striking member at local 50 G in Omaha.  While on strike, the company cancels our insurance and Union striking members will only be paid $105 a week to support their families. Your donations will make a difference. I'd like to close by saying  again, that we at Local 50 G take pride in our work and the communities we live in.  If you know a union member, I am sure you are aware of all the things we do for our communities and fellow unions in Omaha! Local 50g has set up a committee that will determine how to best utilize all donations.
