Edinburgh Marathon for Palestine

Hi everyone,

Next May, Jude and I (Omar) will be running the Edinburgh Marathon to raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). Both of us are students at Heriot Watt University and are also part of the basketball club within the university. Every day, Palestinians face enormous challenges accessing basic healthcare, especially in conflict-affected areas like Gaza. MAP provides essential medical supplies, emergency care, and long-term health support to those in need.

We’re taking on this marathon to help ensure that more people receive the care they deserve. Every money donated will be going directly to MAP through the GoFundMe system. Every donation—big or small—will make a real difference.
