If you know Jeremiah, you know the best SLC foodie places, cheese, and generosity. Sweet Miah was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer early 2021 and learned that it had metastasized to his liver, lymph nodes, and lungs. Miah heard this news with Skye, his wife, by his side and was given grave results that surgery wouldn't be possible.

We’re grateful that his inoperable diagnosis became operable with chemo and that we’ve been able to have more time with Miah. His first surgery on his liver was very successful and Miah felt strong. We were all very hopeful that his colon surgery would be just as successful, but it hasn’t been the case. Miah has been out of work for months and the recovery has been long and hard. With two surgeries back to back, abscesses, infections, and the cancer coming back full speed ahead.

They are in jeopardy of financial burden on top of Miah counting his days. He still hopes for as many days as possible to be with the family and friends he loves so dearly. There is a large chance that he won’t be returning to work at all and preparing for a timeline from his doctors. Miah and Skye need our help, love, and support through this.

As Miah and Skye went on with their lives as normal as possible last year, Miah didn’t miss a beat while doing a full dose of chemo for months. He was so dedicated that he didn’t miss an unplanned day of work up until the day of his first surgery. He also gives so much of his time to all of his friends, family, nieces, and nephews.

Miah LOVES big and he understands that people want to help in any way possible and having this Go Fund Me will make that possible. This is where Miah's village can take action and help, so Miah or Skye can be together as long as possible and not have a financial burden of medical bills, being out of work for so long, and preparing for final plans when that becomes necessary.

If you would like to donate anything else besides money, please let me know through messaging and we'll figure out how to get those things delivered to them.

This money will go directly to Miah and Skye to help with expenses like surgery costs, medical supplies, transportation, food, bills, post-chemo appointments, their last days together, funeral expenses, and other needs that they may have. Please dig deep in your pockets and help this amazing family that we all LOVE!
