Dear Colindale Community
Barnet Council licensing committee granted a license on the condition that Paddy Power employs two people and provides visibility signage for Anti-Social Behaviour which is extremely disappointing when there are more concerns in opening a Betting Premises in a residential area.
The next step is for Paddy Power to apply for a Planning application which will be a harder obstacle to obtain however unless the community acts together this will allow to Paddy Power to open.
28th of September 2017 there will be a PADDY POWER* planning application hearing unless we act now - we will have the opening of betting office in our community introducing potentially more crime to the development with people needing money to support their addiction after loosing thousands of pounds.
This will be devastating for our neighbourhood and community. We have contacted a Planning Consultant/Solicitor who would be able to support us for the appeal as well representing us on the day. The Planning Consultant fee is £1800 plus costs.
We NOW plead with our community to give a Minimum of £15 or more. *Paddy Power* has already been granted two planning applications and this is the main application and is the only chance to stop them from opening.
Nothing is guaranteed but *WE NEED TO TRY* Having the Green Paddy Power signage on your street will not be pleasant with the lingering of people drinking and smoking underneath your home from 7am-11pm everyday except on Sundays with reduced timings !!!!
We ask in the name of the community that we have built to *PLEASE* collect as much as possible from Lease holders, residents and tenants - It is our last chance and leave it in the hands of our community to raise funds to have a legal planning consultant representative to support our community
*WE HAVE UPTO 14 DAYS TO RAISE THE MONEY AND ASK YOUR CONSIDERATION FOR NO TO PADDY POWER ON OUR DEVELOPMENT*
