Stoned Immaculate: A Student Short Film

Enter the late 1970s in the small suburbia of Miltown USA: muscle cars, psychedelics, and sexual liberation are all the rage. A young woman, Julie, turns to “Mother’s Little Helper,” valium, to cope with the monotonous although tumultuous life of working full time in the office and at home supporting her mother. Everything changes when she meets a striking new friend, Dawn, who helps her cut ties from her old life and embrace change.

We are a group of UC Berkeley student filmmakers in the Cinematic Arts and Production Club, looking for support to fund our creative project.

Directed and written by Ella Keker, alongside producer Emma Swinney and our passionate team of filmmakers, we are asking for your contribution to the production of a thrilling coming of age psychological drama. The money we receive will fund delicious set design that will transform our modern metropolis into a 70s suburbia, as well as creating a fun and fulfilling community for all of the hardworking students involved.
