Alumni project, Tuition assistance & Staying Open!

At St John's Childcare, we've provided really good care for really little kids, for over 40 years, in an inclusive setting with tuition assistance. Suddenly, like all childcare programs across California, Covid-19 means that we're faced with families who can't pay their tuition and can't leave their homes, as well as families where one or both parents NEED childcare so they can be at their jobs, especially medical jobs, in this time of high need.
We need your help with funding to support the families who need more care then they usually do so that they can be at work more hours, but also for the center, for operating support to help make up the funding gaps for families who are encountering financial challenges themselves. With some additional financial support, we can continue to operate, providing essential supports to families, while still keeping our teachers employed and their medical insurance intact! One month of salaries averages $75,000, one month of Medical Insurance average $8,500 #SmallBusinessRelief
