I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.

No parent ever should.

But here I am, with a heart shattered into pieces, trying to find the right words through the tears.

Our beloved son, Phillip Jnr, has passed away. Just saying those words out loud feels like being struck by a thousand knives.

He was our first son, our light, our laughter, our protector. Losing him has left an unimaginable void one that echoes through every room, every heartbeat, every quiet moment. We are broken.

But I’m not the only one grieving.

So many hearts are aching with his absence...

A Bond That Death Can’t Break

His soulmate his girlfriend, the love of his life is carrying a weight most can’t even imagine. She stood by him faithfully through every chapter of his life from carefree laughter to painful struggles. She loved him truly, deeply, and entirely… until his very last breath. Now, she wakes each day without the person who knew her best, trying to carry on with a grief so silent, yet so loud.

His big sister not just a sibling, but his second mother, his mentor, his champion. Their bond was unbreakable. She introduced him to music, to life, to confidence. He helped her through her fear of needles during blood tests, and in turn, she gave him strength. They were everything to each other.

His little brother his twin soul in a younger body. Partners in crime, best buds. They fought like brothers do, but always forgave quickly especially Phillip, who always carried love first. The house is quieter now, emptier. The laughter they shared has turned into echoes of memories.

His father a real Dad in every sense. Steady, supportive, full of quiet strength. Now, he's crumbled too, trying to hold the family together with hands that feel so empty.

And me his mother trying to write this, trying to breathe through the pain.

Why We Started This Campaign
