Steve Joyner is a father of 3, teacher, and youth group leader who suffered from a severely ruptured disc (2 levels actually) in his spine. He had several surgeries and continued to suffer from increasing nerve pain that became nearly unbearable.
Finally, he found a doctor willing to reverse a previous surgery in his neck and another in his back and replace the discs, of course the procedure is not covered under insurance and they have spent all their money on travel associated with the surgery and the bills directly from the doctors and the hospital. Many of the medical bills are still outstanding.
Amid the stress of the spine surgery his home HVAC died and needs to be replaced, the family has gone without AC for the past 2 months not wanting to fix it until the surgery was completed.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated and would go directly to the bills that have accumulated including fixing the home AC and medical bills.
While the surgery was looming he had to stop taking his Leukemia medication because it poses a risk of reducing blood clotting and increases chances of bleeding. While off the medication the Leukemia, which was in remission for the past 10 years, has returned. Please pray for the remission of the Leukemia and for a quick recovery from the spine surgery so he can return to work. The broken HVAC makes this an urgent situation because they live in Virginia and it gets quite hot there in the summer. Thanks for your consideration.
