Steve and Kimberly Baum

Steve and Kimberly Baum are currently  
facing some trying times in their lives .. 
Just recently the Baums brought Bernie(steves father)home while he heals physically and mentally from a car accident that took Steve’s mothers life.. Bernie will permanently live with Steve and Kim and he requires a wheelchair to get around. I own my own business called Knox Fencing and Decks and I have volunteered my time and specialties in the matter of building a platform off of Kim’s front porch with an attached wheelchair ramp. This will help Bernie get to where he needs to go safely in and out of the home. 

The Baums will also have to hire assistance for Bernie and his recovery. I know they are having issues right now getting any type of financial help due to the courts and the COVID crisis. .

I am reaching out to the members of Griffith First Christian Church as well as close friends and family of the Baums asking for donations that will help with the costs of the materials of building the platform and ramp as well as Bernies home health care costs. 

Kim and Steve are very humble and private people.. If you know them well, then you already know that they have special souls. They do anything they can for anyone and Kim’s faith can move mountains. She has been a member of GFCC for 21 years and has always been involved with any activity she possibly can be. I wouldlike to keep this as private as possible for as long as we can. We plan to start building as soonas we have the costs for materials. 

I wish I had the means to take care of everything for this family.. because in my heart, they deserve it all.
