UPDATE: we have raised the goal being they are dealing with insurance and will be staying with Sterling’s mom for now. It may take longer than we initially assumed. Thank you for all of your support and love!


Our family in Texas were in their living room hanging out when they saw smoke. They thought the neighbors were grilling. As the smoke became thicker, they went outside to see and found their shed that’s 4ft from the house on fire. They did their best to try to extinguish the flames, but the contents of the shed paired with the strong winds took the flames to the roof where the house became engulfed. Luckily, the kids, dogs, and both parents escaped safely. The upstairs is unsafe to recover items, but they were able to save a few items from downstairs. All kids clothes, toys, memories, seasonal decor, photos, furniture, everything is gone. We’ve set up a goFundMe for anyone interested in helping. Teagan just turned four last week and had her birthday party on Saturday, now all presents being destroyed. Breck is 2 and absolutely loves cars and Paw Patrol. Thank you for your time, care, and love on our family. It is absolutely shocking and devastating.

Lauren and Sterling are my in-laws and very best friends. The money will go towards immediate needs such as clothes, school needs for the kids, basic needs as toiletries, shoes, and whatever else is necessary to get them back on their feet. They have absolutely nothing. Not even a suitcase to store donated clothes. Luckily, they have family close by and are staying with them and have help, but it will take so much for anything to look close to normal again. Thank you.
