In just over a month’s time, families all around Hartlepool will be waking up with butterflies of excitement, safe in the knowledge that Santa has visited. Winter is going to be a challenging difficult few months for many people and I want to do something. It has been a tough and challenging year for many people and I want to spread some happiness. T
his is where I believe The Annexe, a non-profit organisation, can help. There doors have been closed to the general public for a long time but they have still stayed connected with their community and helped where they could. They have not stopped. Residents and volunteers in the community have stepped up too. They have shared so much. I have heard and seen a huge upswing in kindness.
To help this amazing charity I have decided to take on a challenge of running a marathon every day for 10 consecutive days starting Friday 27th November, and on the 10th day I will be running dressed as Santa to coincide with the annual Santa run, all in the hope of raising as much money as possible for The Annexe, to make the most magical time of the year just that little bit better for people.
All funds raised will be going directly to The Annexe, with every penny helping those who truly need it. Please give what you can and please spread the word. Help us to spread some joy this Winter. #timetogive #winterblessings
