Stellar Connections: A Short Student Film

Thank you for checking out our page! We are Christian Choumenkovitch, Alex Reyes, and Gus Vaughn, students majoring in Film Studies at Connecticut College. We are the writers and directors of a queer sci-fi action film, titled Stellar Connections.

Stellar Connections is a thrilling, queer sci-fi action film about Estella, an alien woman who leaves her home planet to stay on Earth, after falling in love with a human woman named Mina. However, an alien from her home planet comes back to find her in order to enact revenge on both her and humanity.

We are conducting a crowdsourcing campaign to raise money for our movie that we've worked tirelessly on. After rewriting drafts and having countless preproduction meetings for the past three months, we are finally ready to start funding our film. We need your help to raise money for props, costumes, transportation, festival submissions, and most importantly, meals/craft services to feed our volunteer crew and cast. This is our last semester, and our last film as students, and we want to make it count. This is our first real, massive film project in our college careers.
