I recently moved to Texas out of faith and obedience to God, and right now I’m asking for help for myself and my daughter as we try to get stable. I have fallen behind on rent, my car note, utilities, and other essential bills, and the full balance is due by the 15th. I started this fundraiser because I need a real chance to catch my breath and keep our basic needs in place.

I have been looking for work for almost a year, and no door has opened. I also want to be clear that I am not lazy. I am pending disability, but that process is very long, and while I wait, these needs do not stop. Ongoing support would help me keep up with the basics that continue month after month, especially rent, my car note, insurance, utilities, and food. If you are able to give more than once, recurring donations would help bring some steadiness while I wait for work or disability to come through, and one-time donations would also mean so much to us.

This has been deeply hard on me day to day. I cry a lot, and I have headaches almost every day from the stress. Living with multiple sclerosis while carrying this kind of pressure has made it even harder. More than anything, I want to be less stressed and more present for my daughter. I want her to have a place to lay her head, food to eat, and a car we can rely on, and I do not want her to keep seeing how heavy this has been on me.
