My name is Samantha (right). I'm almost 15 years old. My mother, Carolene (middle), is working two jobs and is going to school. However, her bills are just too high to be paid with even the money from both jobs.
Since a harsh divorce, we've been walking on eggshells financially.
The internet bill and mortgage have gone up and even the child support we receive is not enough to pay the bills monthly.
We are down to a very minute amount of money and gritting our teeth at every trip to the grocery store. At this point, we're starting to worry if we'll be able to keep the house. This would mean giving up our lovely pets as a result, which would be devastating in itself.
In order to help out, I am doing the best I can to find a job when I turn 15.
We've started selling whatever furniture/household items/clothes that we can.
We are unable to afford most medical care.
My mother is a struggling artist and has been for quite some time. She's doing the best she can to profit from her artwork to assist with the bills.
