Standing with Our Sister Isabella Through Her Cancer Journey

Donation protected
This GoFundMe is on behalf of Isabella Haitsma, who is a fifth-year IBEW apprentice electrician and a single mom of two children, one with special needs requiring full-time care. She has recently been diagnosed with her second bout of breast cancer in less than a year. Due to the aggressiveness of the cancer, she will be undergoing a double mastectomy at the end of January. Between the cancer treatments, surgery, and apprenticeship classes, she has had and will continue to miss a significant amount of work.

If you know Isabella, or have had the opportunity to work with her, you know she is always positive and tackles each day with enthusiasm. Despite her recent health struggles, she has come to work when possible and brightened everyone's day.

Her upcoming treatments and surgery will make it difficult for her to provide for her family. The funds raised will help ease this burden and allow her to lessen the financial strain of the unknown consequences of her treatment and future care.
