Stand with Jovountae Fight Against Cancer

It is with a heavy heart that we share this news, having struggled with the difficult decision to inform our community. The beloved grill master, Jovountae (Geno), known to many from Bridge Under the Bridge, and more recently from his work with Caribbean Kitchen in Newbo City Market, has received a heartbreaking diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and began chemotherapy treatment in August. Since starting treatment, he has been unable to maintain a full-time work schedule, leading to mounting bills, including medical expenses and co-pays. He is facing an additional 4 to 6 months of treatment, contingent on scans and tests, with the hope that the cancer will go into remission. In light of this challenging situation, we ask for any support for him during this difficult journey.
