9 years ago my husband David was involved in a motorcycle accident that took the lower part of his left leg and left him with permanant brain damage.  Over the years he has tried to work without much success.  I now work 2 jobs to try to keep up with the mounting medical bills involved with his care.

Recently David was diagnosed with Cancer and had to undergo emergency surgery to place pins in his amputated leg in order for him to be able to some day use his prosthetic again.  While we do not know what type of cancer we are dealing with David will start radiation treatments on October 4th.  Insurance will not cover the complete cost of the radiation treatments nor the expensive medication needed to ease his pain.
