UPDATE:

I prayed from the moment I started the fundraiser, right through the weekend, that the Lord would put my video in front of the right audience. That he would stir and move hearts to donate as he pleases, and that his will would be done in the matter. That provisions and protections would be met.

We met with another lawyer yesterday for another consultation and at this time, we do not need to proceed with hiring an attorney. He went over our rights and what we have and have not done.; should the matter be pressed anymore, then he’ll take our case on, but as for now he said we don’t need to defend ourselves because we haven’t done anything wrong.

As for the other member who is in a severe medical predicament, there’s nothing that we can do for them.

we appreciate everyone that was able to donate, which honestly allowed us to go to the lawyer who is so far away.

Sunday evening, my prayers turned into concern for the donors. Concerns that I would open the fundraiser on Monday and have more donated than what we needed. I asked the Lord, what if we end up not needing the attorney and have all these donations; I don’t wanna be in that situation. I want your will to be done and only the needs met that need to be met.

After the meeting with the lawyer, I checked the GoFundMe for the first time and saw what had been raised and that it was a little bit more than what we needed for gas and dinner (which was had at the hospital. Oddly enough, they have the best pizza south of New England.)

I kind of chuckled, because God knew the whole time. He knew what we needed and he knew what we did not need. The GoFundMe and my video on social media was shared across thousands of viewers and into a few other countries and still, God only stirred enough hearts to get us through that one day. Which is all we ended up needing. I’m so so grateful for his love and for his hand and for the few of you that were able to help out. I’m so grateful that he didn’t let more people help.

I paused the GoFundMe, so it will no longer allow donations. I wanna keep it open in the background just in case things get stirred up. But for now, you can’t donate and don’t need to.

The situation is still heartbreaking and stressful, but we’ve done everything we can, and in terms of unwarranted prosecutions; shouldn’t be an issue.

We have been dealing with a family crisis for over a month now. There are legal matters involved and persons at risk of faulty persecutions and those being denied their constitutional medical rights.

Because of the legal sides to our situation, I’m not at liberty to share any names, details of persons, or medical conditions. When I asked the lawyer how do I ask for help, when I can’t share why they would be helping, he shrugged his shoulders and said I simply have to be very careful.

So here I am, prayerfully and faithfully relying on that, faith.

1 Corinthians 15:57

”But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

This is an act of faith; knowing that every dollar will be given out of faith alone, based on this plea and the circumstances. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for anything you feel led to give.

I’m setting this up for the “long term” because we have no idea what the timeline will look like or how much the legal fees, gas, food, possible hotels, etc., will cost. (This legal matter is a few hours away from us.)
