Stand by Winnie in Her Fight with Leukemia
Spende geschützt
Dear friends and family,
Hanna and Ashton could use your help... On February 16th, our sweet Winnie girl was admitted into Colorado Children's Hospital. Winnie has recently been experiencing very pale skin, dark eye circles, extreme fatigue, and not taking in any food or drinks. Since sweet Winnie wasn't feeling well and had these symptoms, Hanna and Ashton took her to the emergency room to find out she has low white and red blood cell counts and very low platelets. With this being said, the acting diagnosis is leukemia. Winnie is currently receiving a blood transfusion and waiting on a bone marrow sample to find the full diagnosis. Winnie is in the best spirits and resting. Hanna and Ashton are doing their best to stay positive. We all have faith our beautiful blue-eyed baby girl will kick this in the butt. It will be a long process, so any help for meals, gifts for Winnie to keep her entertained, or just words of advice or love would be greatly appreciated.
Note: Winnlee does have a baby sister, Clementine, who is waiting for her sissy to come home and play.
UPDATE:
Winnlee has now had a spinal tap, port added, first round of chemo, and a bone marrow sample done. She is extremely sleepy and grouchy but had enough energy for some bacon and chocolate milk. Our sweet girl is doing amazing, and we all believe she will kick this in the butt! We will see our sweet girl back to herself soon!
The family will be using the funds for fuel, bills, the move in to their new condo the got 2 days before their new journey.
