Stand by Cathy Dow and family

My name is Crystal Curry and I wanted to share a story of one of our co-workers and a dear friend of mine at BHS. As many of you know our fellow Raider, Cathy Dow, has been fighting a battle with cancer since last July. In recent months her treatment has not made the improvements to her health that she needs. We are asking that you consider supporting her and her family in this time of need as she has been out of work longer than we could have expected.

Cathy has been part of the Raider family for years now in more than one capacity. Not only has she recently supported many students in her role as a student monitor, but she first was a coach to many former and current volleyball and softball players. She dedicated thousands of hours to bettering the lives of these athletes not only as players, but as the young women they have become today. She never asked for anything when offering her unending support to the Bloomington community. We hope that you find it in your hearts to pay her back for the work she has done. We know some have already donated and that was very appreciated. As she continues to fight, we all know that more and more things outside of the fight make it that much harder. So, any more support you are able to offer would significantly impact the family.
