Stairs Everest

This is a charity very close to my heart. My daughter lost her father last year (3.08.19), who was a soldier in the 1st The Queens Dragoon Quards and absolutely loved his job. The inquest into Sion Rosiers death is still ongoing - and hopefully will come to a close soon.

During this past year through our bereavement Scottys have helped us massively, my daughter on particular. From being there when we need someone to talk to - to organising a weekend away during this hard time, and sending my daughter gifts on occasions (Birthdays, Remembrance Day etc) 

Whilst on our Scottys break the weekend of Poppis fathers anniversary of death it was then that I realised how much Scottys have supported my daughter and helped us come together as a family during the hard times. We were already an extremely close family, but helping us to go for a remembrance meal with vouchers, and the break away helped us take that time as a family, to have fun, for Poppi to smile and to remember her Daddy. 

I would really love to give something back to Scottys Little Soldiers, and so I have decided to do Stairs Everest. A challenge over the course of 4 weeks to climb our home stairs a minimum of 2800 times! That averages to 100 times per day.
