St Stephen's Church Hall Roof Repairs Fund

In October 2022 lead was stolen from the church hall roof, the lead was carelessly ripped off causing damage. There are multiple leaks in the roof and during heavy rain it's a huge problem. The insurance company will not pay out due a technicality involving Smart Water. This means we have to find the money ourselves. The church hall is used widely by the community for various activities including weekly classes, charity work, Parent & Toddler group, Messy Church, lunches and teas for the elderly, meetings and public events, as well as weekend events such as children's parties etc, any hire fees only cover the cost of the utility bills and cleaning - the hall is not run for profit. In order to keep the building open and in use for the community, we need to fundraise to repair the roof. All donations towards this are welcome! Thank you for your support.
