St. Gabriel Louisiana Flood Relief

As a native St. Gabriel country girl, it is with a heavy heart that I am starting this GoFundMe page. My beautiful, resilient State was ravaged by, what they are calling the 500 year flood, over the weekend. So many families lost their entire homes, cars, EVERYTHING in the recent and ongoing floods.
I’m sure you’ve seen the same heartbreaking photos and video footage of the devastation I have (below are just a few examples)… it is so inspiring to see people come together, risking their lives to save stranded families and helpless animals, offering assistance to those less fortunate. One of the many reasons I love Louisiana is because the people and community fight for each other. Instead of continuing to feel helpless, I’ve decided it was finally time to do something about it. I truly believe, that if we all band together, we can make a difference.
I am asking for anyone's aid, support, and love to help my parents, grandparents and fellow St. Gabrielites with any type of assistance they can provide. Whether that is assistance though money, gift cards for clothing, food, living essentials, furniture, or even positive thoughts and prayers - I know that they will be beyond appreciative.
