While politicians and pundits argue what should be done with homeless and hungry people, the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters organization feeds and helps the poor every day, 365 days a year - providing more than a million meals a year to the homeless, the working poor and needy families in the greater New York area.
Putting the numbers in perspective, the St. Francis network serves over 10,000 poor families at over 40 locations including food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and senior centers.
