St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Parish Building Fund

The current St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church is approximately seventy years old. It has never had a major exterior repair, and the stucco is failing. In recent years, due to the age of the building, we have experienced water damage due to leakage, as well as increasing issues with the exterior. We have commenced repairs, to the tune of approximately $600,000, with the goal of completely refinishing the exterior of the church, along with replacing the windows with new and energy efficient windows, and repairing damage brought on as previously mentioned. We were presented a gift of $150,000, added $211,000 from church savings, and have taken out a loan from our diocese, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Calgary, for $200,000, with the remainder to be fundraised. We are aiming at paying off our loan, replenishing our savings, and fundraising all extra cost, with this GoFundMe as part of it.
