Hurricane Harvey Student Fund

I am a 6th grade teacher in Houston, Texas. The view from my classroom window overlooks Brays Bayou, and and was one of the most affected communities hurt in Hurricane Harvey.  My students and their families are struggling to get clean water, food and shelter and will continue to for weeks without our help. Some are seeking refuge in shelters as they weather the storm.
Funds will be used to make backpacks for students and families. Each backpack will have: clean bottled water, socks, a toiletry kit, blanket, and other small necessities. Your genorosity has already allowed for us to make over 100 backpacks for students.
Your donations will be used ASAP so that we can make the backpacks and distribute them at school in the upcoming weeks. Your support is crucial to help our students rebuild their lives after Hurricane Harvey.
