SSCC Mexico Mission Trip

Every year during Spring Break, Sandy Springs Christian Church takes a group of high school students into Tecate, Mexico to help build a house with a family in need.  This is not only a life changing experience for the family we serve, that will now have a roof over their head and a dry, concrete floor that will keep them warm, but also for our youth that get to experience a new culture and develop relationships with our neighbors to the south.  It is an eye opening trip for our youth in which we see and feel the presence of God at work in our lives.

Our youth do all the work by hand, without the use of power tools, learning to measure, saw, hammer and ultimately build a house for a family that is in great need.  We sleep in tents at night under the beautiful stars and worship together sharing our stories of faith that bind us together.  This is a trip that truly changes lives on both sides of the border.

But we need your help!  Every dollar raised on here will go straight to the cost of the house materials and land provided by Amor Ministries, our partner on this trip.  No donation is too small.

We are grateful for your support and ask for your continued prayers as we begin another journey seeking to serve, from our doorsteps, to the ends of the earth.
