A Christmas Celebration in aid of Ardee Hospice
Join us once again for our Virtual Carol Service “A Musical Christmas Celebration“ in aid of Ardee Hospice on Sunday 19th December at 5pm.
Ardee Hospice are usually the beneficiaries of the collection at our annual Carol Service. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 restrictions we are once again unable to hold our Carol Service as normal so I decided to record a scaled back version and put it online on the Sunday before Christmas, as this is traditionally the day we hold it every year, and to set up this GoFundMe page to raise much needed funds for Ardee Hospice who provide amazing support to many families in our community.
Unfortunately there are very few families who will escape the dreaded disease that is Cancer and it is organisations like Hospice that help to make a very difficult journey that little bit easier for patients and their families.
The GoFundMe page will be live in the week leading up to the video of the Virtual Carol Service being uploaded and all donations big or small will be greatly appreciated. There will also be a link available when the video is uploaded across social media platforms on Sunday 19th December. So please feel free to share it with all of your friends.
I would like to thank the members of Our Childrens Choir, Ardee Liturgical Choir and Ardee Concert Band who gave generously of their time and talents to help me put this together. And also a very big thank you to our accompanist David Leddy and to Joe Finnegan for recording it for us.
We hope that it will help to spread some Christmas Spirit and that everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed recording it!
