Tottenham Hotspur supporters know a thing or two about sticking together. When someone in our community needs support, we show up.
A few years ago, a member of the Spurs supporter family, Dustin George-Miller, received a diagnosis of colorectal cancer. Many in the Spurs community know Dustin through his work as managing editor of Cartilage Free Captain . Through his work covering Tottenham Hotspur, he’s helped create a space where supporters from around the world gather to talk Spurs, share a laugh, and survive the emotional rollercoaster of following this club we all love.
Colorectal cancer is a major health challenge. Each year there are more than 42,000 new cases in the UK and over 150,000 in the United States. Even more concerning, diagnoses are rising rapidly among adults under 50.
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness month and to help fight back we’re raising funds for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance , an incredible organization dedicated to ending colorectal cancer in our lifetime. Their work supports patients and families while pushing forward prevention, early detection, and life-saving research.
Your donation will help support efforts such as:
- Advocating for prevention and early detection, helping people catch the disease sooner and save lives
- Funding research that accelerates breakthroughs in treatment and care
- Supporting patients and families navigating one of life’s toughest challenges
Every contribution—big or small—helps strengthen the fight against colorectal cancer and gives hope to families facing this diagnosis.
And if donating isn’t possible right now, there are still meaningful ways to help. Get screened when it’s appropriate for you , talk with your loved ones about colorectal cancer, and encourage the people around you to take their health seriously. Awareness and early detection save lives.
If you’ve ever enjoyed the Spurs community online, laughed at a match recap, or found yourself deep in a comment thread after a chaotic match, this is a chance to stand together for something bigger.
Thank you for supporting this cause and for looking out for one another.
And of course… COME ON YOU SPURS.
