FAMILY SUPPORT DRIVE - for students in Bellingham Public Schools

We need your help. The pandemic and economic conditions are causing ongoing, increasing hardship for local families. Schools have recently returned to in-person learning, and school staff estimate that 500-800 local students may be unable to replace their outgrown shoes and clothing this spring. As a community, we can remedy this.

Can you make a contribution to support unmet family needs in our community?

100% of these funds* will go toward:

- shoes and clothing for growing kids and adolescents;

- personal care items (laundry detergent, toilet paper, diapers, etc), healthcare, transportation, beds and bedding, small appliances, utilities, and other unmet emergent needs;

- kitchen starter kits (dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc) for families that are settling into a new home and need these basics.

Families can access this support through the Bellingham Public Schools' Family Resource Center. The FRC staff work with all our district's schools and directly serve families and individual students in need.
