Spring Fundraising

The Alpha Nu Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega is a sorority on Mizzou's campus dedicated to raising awareness and money for our philanthropy, domestic violence awareness. We raise money through fundraising, events, etc., which goes directly to our local beneficiary, True North of Columbia, a domestic violence shelter. You can read a little more about True North's mission and the work that they do in our community below. More information about True North of Columbia, Inc.: True North is Boone County's only intimate partner violence and sexual assault victim services program. he agency provides a safe, emergency shelter offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to victims of intimate partner violence who are fleeing abusive situations, and also provides a variety of advocacy services, individual counseling, and support groups for victims regardless of whether they are residing in the shelter or not.
