Spreading Cheer in KCK
Donation protected
Hello friends and family!
As many of you know, due to the COVID-19 pandemic my school district has been doing remote learning since September, and we will continue to do so until April. Many students and teachers alike have struggled with the lack of connection from this set-up.
My co-worker and I have come up with a plan to visit each of our students before Holiday Break with a small present. We are hoping that by dropping off a little goodie, they will begin to feel more connected to school despite the challenges of staying online. Since we teach 7th grade, we have a total number of 100 students (yes, the grading is insane!).
If you feel led, we are asking for donations to our Amazon wishlist. We picked gifts we knew the students would enjoy and that were also affordable. You can donate by clicking this link. We plan on giving one gift to each student.
Thank you for your incredible generosity and we will be sure to give an update after the packages have been delivered to our well-deserving students.
*Note: We plan to drop off gifts December 21st and 22nd so please have your orders/donations in by December 17th.
If you are looking for a way to give back to the Kansas City community, here it is
If you choose to donate cash instead of picking something from the wishlist, perfect!! Every $5 can buy a gift to a student at 5 and Below.
Spirit wear can also be purchased from our school website and it can be donated to our students. Indicate in the order form that you want your purchase to be donated
Thank you all for the consideration!!!
