Spencer’s bladder Surgery

Spencer is a happy little boy, he’s 6 weeks old and due to have bladder surgery! He was born with bladder exstrophy, a raised bumwhole, two pee wholes, a hernia & slightly bigger kidneys. He may need a few surgeries to repair his stomach & walls (photos below). He is due to have surgery at great ormand street, which is 150 miles away from home, meaning we will have to pay for food daily & accomidation whilst having bills to pay. 


Unexpectedly we got admitted to great ormand street on the 23rd July, after visiting for a routine appointment! We came with nothing, just ourselves & a few clothes & enough milk for 1 day for Spencer!



Im helping raise money to help towards bills, food in hospital & buying him toys whilst Spencer has his surgery so we are able to take time off to help him recover & potentially be in hospital after several surgeries. If 300 people donated £5 each, that would cover our bills & food for 5 weeks. My husband would then be able to stop work for 5 weeks to come to Great ormand street with us & help him in his recovery! £5 donated would buy Spencer 1 pack of pampers size 1 nappies/ 5 packs of size 1 aldi nappies! £10 would get Spencer 1 tub of HiPP Organic formula.  £20 would get the above & some metanium nappy rash cream. Spencer will go through more nappies & rash cream than most children, he needs his bum changing more frequently & cream being applied every hour.
