Special needs pushchair needed for my autistic son

My son George was diagnosed with Autism just before his 2nd birthday. For those unaware that means that he sees the world differently to the rest of us. It is a life long condition that poses significant challenges.

The scariest one for us is his complete lack of danger awareness. This means that we cannot go out to the shops or for a walk like a “normal family” without him being in a pushchair as he would pose serious harm to himself or others. 

Unfortunately, most standard pushchairs go up to 15/20kg weight limit, which as we approach is a scary place to be. 

After consulting the NHS, the type of pushchair we require is not covered and with a rain cover costs £1000. 

We are hoping to try to raise some funds to ensure George can continue to be able to access all that he wants to without fear of him hurting himself or others.
