Southampton Opportunity Group Sessions

Southampton Opportunity Group is an essential charity set up to run play sessions for pre-school children who have additional needs. The children that we cater for can have various needs ranging from cerebral palsy to speech and language delay, chromosone disorders to Autism and many more. Not only do these structured sessions help the children to develop but it also gives their carers some much needed respite.
We operate from Thornhill and Swaythling Sure start centres in Southampton and at a recent Ofsted inspection parents described us as 'providing a life line', and 'the short period of respite care that 'keeps them afloat' as well as 'crucial professional support'.  However, we receive no government funding and rely on grants and fundraising to provide these essential services.
Our sessions make such a difference to so many families and there is no other like it in Southampton. Please help by making a donation (every penny makes a big difference).
