South River Skateboard Park

For many years the Village of South River has been in need of exciting outdoor activities for youth. The Village of South River,  South River Lions Club and local businesses were asked to construct a skateboard park to fulfill this need. This request was accepted, and the South River Skateboard Park Committee was created to plan and organize this exciting project. The committee is comprised of members representing the Village of South River and Council, South River Lions Club, area businesses, and most importantly local youth.  The expected cost of this project is between $36,000 and $50,000. Thanks to the generosity of local groups, businesses and private donators, we have $23,000 committed to the project and only $27,000 to go.  We need your help to make this project a reality.
