Our goal is to use the funds recieved to purchase and distribute solar flash lights and solar power cells from our partner Renology at cost allowing us to nearly double our ability to help. The flash lights/lantern not only provides light but will also allow for much needed charging of small electronics and communications devices without the need for batteries.
As of right now 750 of the units below are being distributed throughout Puerto Rico, all donations go towards buying more Renogy solar flashlights and lighting up more Puerto Rican families lives.
We just also partnered with John Leguizamo's solar campaign Solar4PR to work together to bring more units to the island.

We are a 501(c)(3) based in Tampa, Florida focused on providing solar power to those in need.
I am a sophmore at Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa Bay. Since I live in Tampa, I know countless people whose families are in Puerto Rico without any power and can see how hard it is on those people to have family living without even basic commodities. All the donations will be put into our 501(c)(3), then transfered to the supplier Renogy to pay for the units and shipping. Once the units arrive in Tampa we are distributing them to Puerto Rico with 2 organziations "Caring for Puerto Rico" and "Solar4PR.org" . Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
