Save Our Schools - Annual Upkeep
Donation protected
Dear prospective supporter:
Last year in June 2018 Matthew Hebert and myself started the Save Our Schools campaign to provide organization and an effective fighting power to pass the Proposition 2 1/2 override in Rehoboth. Transitioning throughout the year until now it became clear that this was going to be a long lasting effort on behalf of the students at the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School, and all students within the district.
In short — to ensure that the Save Our Schools platform is available to students and community members this year and beyond I ask for your assistance in generating the funds required to upkeep all our systems. It is not cheap and up until this point I have self funded many of the critical components our team uses to communicate and effectively spread our message.
Costs associated are outlined below:
- $76.51 (GSuite [email redacted] email)[Used as primary official communications for coordinators]
- $76.51 (GSuite [email redacted] email) [Used to manage infrastructure as well as archive and communicate with critical supporters]
- $155 Annual website hosting fee, Squarespace
- $15.16 Domain name (savedr.org), Namecheap
WISHLIST:
- $76.51 for new email ([email redacted]), to be used by student leaders to create and organize
If you feel our mission of enabling students advocators and empowering those who feel they don’t have control over their futures aligns with you, we would greatly appreciate your contribution.
Unfortunate SOS is not a nonprofit at this time but in the near future if the movement continues it is my hope that it will transition into that. It’s goal being, to support a greater band of students across the Commonwealth, not just Dighton-Rehoboth students.
Respectfully,
Noah Avila
