I have been given an amazing opportunity to speak at an international Clinical Nursing and Practice Conference at the end of August - in Zurich,Switzerland!, I will be speaking on "The Murrumbidgee Project".
I have been committed to and coordinating this project since 2016 in which my colleagues and I have been linking, establishing and implementing specialist pain management services to rural and remote areas of the vast Murrumbidgee region of NSW. The opportunity of sharing the challenges and solutions with my peers at an international level will be invaluable both on a professional and personal level. Given the chance to network with and learn from fellow clinicians i will hopefully bring new ideas home.
And now I ask for help from my family, friends and colleagues. In order to realise this dream, I am looking to raise $3,500 to cover return airfares, conference registration and accommodation in Zurich.
If by chance I was to exceed this total, I will donate this amount to my son's special school to assist in the purchase of classroom resources. Thankyou for your time and consideration.
