Sommers Adoption

This Mother’s Day I wanted to do something proactive to show my support to all the parents with heaven born babies. I’m one of those mothers myself, but most especially so is my dear sister, Nikki. She and my brother in law, Andy, have had a hard journey on their way to becoming parents. After many many years of struggle and heartache they’re working hard to bring a baby home through the miracle of adoption.  This has always been a dream in their heart, although they didn’t expect it to come about this way. But as most of us know, the significant costs of adoption  can add up quickly. They’ve passed a few of the first major milestones but the  hurdle they currently have is getting their portfolio in motion which alone costs $4000. Then all the additional significant costs that follow when they are matched with a baby.   They  are always helping those in need around them with their time, finances and  love. And I think it’s their turn to be on the receiving end! I would love to see us be able to bless them abundantly and help care for some of this financial need/burden  that delays their dream of bringing a baby home. This Mother’s day (and upcoming Father’s Day) I encourage you to please consider giving to this dream, helping them get over this next hurdle and even further!
