We’re a team of three high school students in Guatemala City, who are passionate about sustainability, architecture, and economics. Our personal project is to install solar panels in our school’s library. We hope that this project will be the start of many more eco-friendly initiatives that can ultimately become a part of students’ learning experience and in the process, contribute to a more sustainable Guatemala.
We will be working with a local company, Green, who will provide and install the solar panels.
Needs we’re trying to help satisfy:
-Initiate an environmental-friendly project to promote awareness of enviormental issues among students.
-Model a student led project that has long-term sustainable impacts in our community.
-Foster a spirit of entrepreneurship on campus.
-Make History! Be part of a first-of-its-kind student-led initiative at our school
-Help reduce our carbon footprint
