Agatha Sofia, tiene 15 años, desde muy pequeña fue diagnosticada con Neurofibromatosis tipo 1 (NF1) y debido a esto desarrolló escoliosis. La escoliosis junto a la NF1 es muy agresiva. A pesar de utilizar un chaleco por los pasados 5 años, el cual debería prevenir que su columna siga desviándose, no se han obtenido los resultados esperados. Su curvatura ha aumentado hasta llegar a los 75 grados en los pasados 6 meses y es necesaria una cirugía para poder corregir esa desviación.
Agatha Sofia tendrá su cirugía en Filadelfia y necesitamos reunir dinero para costear los pasajes y demas gastos que tendremos durante las semanas que debemos permanecer allá. Apelo a la bondad de cada uno para poder lograrlo y mi niña pueda tener una mejor calidad de vida.

Even though she has been wearing a scoliosis jacket for the past 5 years, which should have helped to stop the progress, but the results were not the ones we expected. Her curvature has increased to 75 degrees in the past 6 months and it is necessary for her to have surgery to correct it.
Agatha Sofia will have surgery in Philadelphia and we need to collect money for the plane tickets and all the expenses we’ll have. Before returning home we have to stay for a couple of weeks until it’s ok to travel. I appeal the kindness of each one so that we can make it and my daughter may have a better way of life.
