Who doesn’t remember S? The tall Iraqi guy, always smiling and willing to
help. He would spend hours and hours, day after day at the clinic in Moria. At
first he volunteered with BRF and later he translated for MMS.
On February 22nd his 7-day trial will start on the island of Chios. We found a good lawyer to
help him. (the same who helped us before to get S out from pre-detention and that helped
Team Humanity to get free) Since there is no evidence that S was part of the riot and he has
many witnesses to the fact that he was helping at the clinic ,his lawyer is very confident that he can
win this case. But without a lawyer the chances of winning a case like this are non-existent.
So, he needs your help! Please consider supporting S financially so he can have a chance to
be released.
Finally, we would ask that you don’t share any of this information online, because that can
be harmful for his case.
