A $5.00 donation makes 816 grams of bar soap, as pictured above, which then produces 1.63 gallons (6.17L) of liquid soap.
1.63 gallons of liquid soap means 122 showers for Migrant Children & their Families.
As many of you have read on National Media, the Migrant Children & their Families are living in over crowded, unsanitary conditions at the Mexican - American Border detention centers. They are unwashed, ill, traumatized and legally unrepresented.

The children have been denied access to basic sanitary items by Government Officials, including toothbrushes and SOAP! These children are aged 5 months to 17, sleep in poor conditions covered in foil wrappers and exposed to so many diseases.
We are appealing to the hearts of American Soap makers and Friends of Soap makers, to craft enough soap to meet the hygienic need at the detention centers.
Kindly make your donation and invite five other friends to do the same.
$20 will buy soaping ingredients i.e olive, castor & coconut oil and NaOH, which will produce about 9 pounds of solid soap as is pictured above.
9 pounds (4082grams) of solid soap, will produce over 10 plus gallons of liquid soap (shower gel) = 750 showers!!
An adult needs just ONE SERVING SPOON (50 ml) of shower gel to have a complete cleansing, lathering and bubbly shower.
One gallon of soap will give 75 showers!!
