So People Don't Die

Hi, I'm Eric, and I'm fundraising to buy electrolyte water and protein cookies for 1000 of Houston's 3,223 unsheltered homeless people vulnerable every day to dehydration-related death. Here, they often succumb to heat exhaustion, heat stroke, kidney failure (caused by dehydration), and heart failure. And when they’re found, it's on sidewalks, at bus stops, in tents, and in creeks, as I recently and unfortunately discovered the hard way.

A simple solution is the most difficult thing for homeless people to get access to, the one thing we can survive only 3-days without, clean drinking water. So, for them, my vision is to become a dependable source for at least that.

Through your generous donations, I will hand out 1000 bottles of Pedialyte Electrolyte Water and 1000 12-gram protein cookies to 1000 homeless men, women, and children in Houston. Any amount you give will help save lives. And even a $5 donation can make a difference.
