Let's make a Smith-Stauder IUI baby!

We are Lori and Victoria Smith-Stauder and we have big dreams of being mamas. We have been married for 6 years, and have been in the process of growing our family for over three years.

We are using the IUI method and are using a known donor.

The past three years have been filled with countless hours working with attorneys through our known donor contract to establish parental intent and rights. That took two years. We then spent a year going through the donation side of the process, which included registration, donation, collection, storage, and shipping etc!

NOW we are actively trying, and have been through 4 failed attempts. We need your help to do more tries!

Below is a breakdown of monthly fees so you can see what it takes each try. You can choose to sponsor a particular part of the process!

Medication: $10 after insurance

Trigger Shot: $150

Sperm Shipment: $450

Mid Cycle Scan: $350

IUI Procedure: $750 (insurance will not contribute)

Additional fees may be incurred for OPKs, pregnancy tests, and sometimes there is bloodwork not covered by insurance.

That takes us to just under $2000 per month.

Below is a breakdown of initial fees from the cryobank we're using in case you'd like to sponsor a specific part of this process! Since we completed 2 rounds, we are now collecting for the next round. We calculated fees for just one specimen and one shipment, with 12 months of storage, but likely we will need more than one donation and shipment. We'd also like to have at least 2 kids, so we'll be storing leftovers for a few years!

Initial Appointment:

Review of medical information and consultation $150

Infectious Disease Panel $1360

Physical Examination $150

Semen evaluation/Cryopreservation and test thaw (Per specimen):

Standard-Not Washed: $350

Washed $460
