Flood relief for the Smith Family

Hurricane Harvey took their home. On Sunday morning my cousin Shannon and her family woke up to find their home completely flooded. 
They live in Friendswood Texas and this area has been heavily impacted by hurricane Harvey. The water came up so quickly that they had to be rescued by boat and were only able to bring with them the clothes they were wearing and their two dogs. When they left their home, all the furniture was floating, vehicles submerged and everything was destroyed.
Shannon and her husband Jason have spent most lot of their lives taking care of everyone else while serving in the U.S. military. Shannon is a disabled veteran and Jason is still working hard to serve our country in the military. They are parents to two incredible children Jessica is 13, and Sean is 8. They had just started a new school year and are now faced with having lost all of their posessions.
I am starting this campaign to help relieve some of the financial strain that they are going to be faced with while trying to put their lives back together. Please donate if at all possible and please share. This family needs our help!

The money raised from this campaign will be used for home repairs, housing costs while their home is under construction, clothing, vehicles, food, and any other immediate expenses that come up as they are figuring out what the next steps are in putting their lives back together.
